Our Custom & Commissioned experience is designed for clients who want something created specifically for them—from an original garment or reconstructed design to a personalized interpretation of the Kissed by BO aesthetic.

Begin Your Custom Order — $50

Your custom experience begins with a $50 Design & Commission Fee.

Before your consultation, you’ll complete a Custom Design Form where you can share the details of your vision, including:

• Inspiration and reference images
• Desired silhouette or garment
• Color and fabric direction
• Fit preferences and measurements
• Occasion or intended use
• Styling details
• Desired completion date
• Any additional ideas you’d like considered

We’ll then have a consultation to review your vision, discuss what’s possible, and establish the creative direction for your piece.

Your Initial Design Sketch

Following our conversation, your ideas will be translated into an original fashion illustration/design sketch created specifically for your proposed commission.

Your $50 Design & Commission Fee includes:

• Custom Design Form
• Design consultation
• One original design sketch
• One sketch revision

The sketch serves as the visual foundation for your commission, allowing us to establish the overall silhouette, design direction, and artistic details before your garment enters production.

Additional or substantial design revisions may require an additional design fee.

Moving Forward With Your Commission

Once your sketch and final design direction are approved, you’ll receive the final price and estimated production timeline for your custom piece.

To begin sourcing and production, 50% of the total custom-order price is due.

Your original $50 Design & Commission Fee will be deducted from this amount, because you’ve already invested that $50 toward the development and design of your piece.

Example

If your final custom piece is $500:

Custom Piece: $500
Less Design & Commission Fee Already Paid: −$50
Remaining Balance: $450

Production Deposit (50%): $225

Final Payment: $225

This means you’re never paying the $50 in addition to the final price of an accepted commission—it becomes part of your investment in the finished piece.

Production

Once the production deposit has been received, sourcing and creation of your custom piece will begin.

Because every commission is individually created, turnaround times vary based on design complexity, sourcing requirements, construction, artistic detailing, and current production availability.

Your estimated timeline will be provided before production begins.

If unforeseen sourcing or production delays occur, you’ll be notified as soon as possible.

Final Approval & Payment

Once your piece is complete, you’ll receive final images via email or text.

The remaining 50% balance must be paid in full before your piece is shipped, delivered, or released for pickup.

Artistic Interpretation

Custom doesn’t mean copied.

Reference images, inspiration, and ideas help communicate your vision, but your finished piece will be interpreted through the creative perspective and design language of Kissed by BO.

Handcrafted details, reconstructed materials, artwork, denim washes, embellishments, and other artistic elements may naturally vary.

That’s part of what makes your commission uniquely yours.

Measurements & Fit

Clients are responsible for providing accurate sizing and measurement information requested during the custom-order process.

Depending on the garment, additional measurements or fit information may be required before production begins.

Custom Order Policy

Because every Custom & Commissioned piece is designed specifically for the individual client:

• The $50 Design & Commission Fee is non-refundable once the design process has begun.
• One initial design sketch and one revision are included.
• Production begins after design approval and receipt of the required production deposit.
• Production deposits are non-refundable once sourcing or construction has begun.
• Custom and commissioned pieces are final sale.
• Custom pieces are not eligible for returns or exchanges.
• Changes requested after production begins may require additional fees and additional production time.

Creative & Design Rights

All original sketches, illustrations, concepts, and finished designs remain part of the creative work and intellectual property of Kissed by BO.

Kissed by BO reserves the right to photograph and showcase completed work within our portfolio, website, lookbooks, and social platforms unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
